[Apologies for the many who will get multiple copies of this email]
Dear metaocaml hackers, users and enthusiasts,
At Walid Taha's urging, I am organizing a 'metaocaml hackathon'
February 22-24 in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. The purpose of this
meeting is to:
1. get metaocaml updated from 3.09 to 3.11,
2. to ease the job of keeping metaocaml as up-to-date with Objective
Caml releases as possible.
Secondary goals would be to look at both extensions and contractions of
metaocaml. We want to keep the only typed multi-stage meta-programming
language alive!
If you're thinking of attending, please let me know, I need to have a
rough idea of numbers, to make sure to book the right rooms (at the
University of Waterloo) to host us. Soon, I will also put up a web site
with details of lodgings, travel, etc. In the meantime, you can look at
the visitor information from
http://www.cs.uwaterloo.ca/conferences/issac2007/local_information.shtml
which is still quite current.
